A new day, a new week, and all is right with the world

This week leading up to Christmas is exciting. Buying last minute gifts or finding that perfect gift that you have been looking for but it can be a little stressful for some.  Get in touch with your friends even just to say Hi, open a door for someone, give a smile or some chit chat in a store...it can all add up but most of all be respectful to your fellow man...you don't now what other people are going through.  My DH was in a store at the weekend and was almost knocked over by an older woman.  When he said " don't mind me" to ensure she knew he was there...she replied "Well, I won't mind you".  He walked away and returned to that area when she was through.  Who knows she may just be an ignorant so and so, but she may be stressed have an elderly parent at home, be time poor to get her shopping done on time or be relying on someone taking her to the shops and feeling rushed.Don't add to it...it doesn't benefit anyone.  As they say you get further with honey...so spread a little honey out there. And as the song says:

And in our world of plenty

We can spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around the world
At Christmastime.

It's a beautiful life when there is music in it!
